Throughout the year, MUCDA hosts a wide range of events designed to raise awareness and engage the McGill community in conversations about communication disorders.
Past events have included sign language classes, art nights, guest speaker panels, and trivia nights.

Fundraisers
Each year, we organize fundraising events in support of organizations and charities that work with individuals with communication disorders. These events often include creative, relaxing, and awareness-focused activities.

Join the Executive Team
At the end of every academic year, we open applications for our MUCDA Executive Team. If you’d like to take on a leadership role within MUCDA, we encourage you to apply!
Announcements about open positions will be shared through our social media platforms and email listserv. Applications are reviewed by the current Co-Presidents before new executives are selected.
Become a Buddy or McGill Volunteer
Our Buddy Program connects McGill volunteers with individuals in the Montreal community who have speech and/or language disorders. Volunteers offer friendship, support, and a safe space for their Buddy.
